Additional weight can be added to fine-tune the trowel's performance on different systems' properties like resin viscosities, sand to liquids ratios, even slab, ambient and mortar temperatures, or just operator preference. The weight kit fits easily on to the guard and can increase the overall weight of the trowel 22 lbs. at 2-1/2 lb. increments. This allows the installer to fine tune the trowel for many different systems and conditions.
